Answer: Maxtra+ is Brita's improved version of Maxtra. It has improved filtration performance and lasts longer between changes. -

Answer: Maxtra is discontinued, maxtra+ is the upgraded version. -

How long do the maxtra+ filters last?
Answer: The filters last for 5-6 weeks on average and the water remains free from chemical taste until the end of that period. The flow of water slows down and eventually stops, indicating the need to change the filter. -
Question:
What is the difference between Maxtra+ and Maxtra filters? Are they the same size?
Answer: Maxtra+ and Maxtra filters are not the same size. Maxtra filters do not fit the Maxtra+ jug.
