Displaced is a science fiction book with a touch of fantasy, and a Narnia style storyline. Despite some criticism of the dialogue between characters being overly sappy, the book is Considered an emotional and exciting page-turner. The characters are well-developed and the plot evokes powerful emotions. However, not all readers are pleased with the book as one reader discovered the book to be over-excessive in certain parts making it unwelcoming to read.
