However, the user guide that came with the device was incomplete and forced the customer to dig around for information online to properly map the drive to Windows. In addition, the QNAP interface is cumbersome and not intuitive, making it difficult to set up and use. One customer was unable to configure the Ethernet interface for DHCP and returned the product for a refund. On the other hand, another customer found the product to be a perfect replacement for their aged WD Cloud NAS, with good performance playing back 4K movies.
