Hypertech 730127 In-Line Speedometer Calibrator

** Hypertech 730127 In-Line Speedometer Calibrator** The Hypertech 730127 In-Line Speedometer Calibrator has garnered a mix of sturdy endorsements and cautionary feedback from users who have integrated this calibration device into their trucks. Customers particularly appreciate its dual methods for calibrating speed – either according to tire specifications or via GPS – adding a versatile aspect to customization. Users reported a significant improvement, with many noting that the calibrator swiftly rectified speedometer inaccuracies caused by larger tires, leading to a perfectly accurate speed readout. Installation experiences have varied; some users found the process straightforward, while others encountered challenges, particularly due to insufficient installation instructions. Users with models such as the 2018 Silverado 2500 and 2017 GMC Canyon have successfully reported excellent results, with a restored accuracy after adjusting for sizeable tire changes. However, there are notable concerns regarding compatibility, as some vehicles, like the 2019 Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax, faced issues with plug sizes resulting in unusable products—leading to dissatisfaction and financial loss for those unable to return them. Overall, while the product is effective in enhancing speedometer performance and addressing shift points, potential buyers must be wary of installation pitfalls and ensure compatibility with their vehicle model before purchasing. **
