The Vizelex Fusion ND Throttle Smart Lens Adapter is a great piece of kit for those looking to use their EF lenses on L-mount cameras. It provides full electronics and a variable ND system found in most top video cameras for smooth transitions and shallow depth. It works flawlessly for time-lapse and long exposure work. However, autofocus may have some issues, and it can lead to missing a shot and losing a stop of light which can be a deal-breaker for some purists. Unfortunately, the product seems to have a problem with it being delivered in dirty units, and it seems to be stock-wide. It took three replacements for one customer to eventually receive a clean unit. However, opening the device and cleaning the interior is not that hard to fix the problem.
