The Jet Wet Sharpener is a powerful machine that can sharpen a range of tools, including kitchen knives and planer knives. It is made in China and can be used with Tormek accessories and grind stones. The machine has a wattage that can be found in the specs. The user manual lists all parts that can be purchased from Jet's customer service department. Some customers had negative experiences with the Jet Wet Sharpener. They found the tool rest was not tight in the shaft, resulting in inConsistent results truing the stone, and ruined plane blades. Additionally, one customer found it impossible to correct the misalignment on the machine. Another felt the wheel was too coarse for knife sharpening, despite using the conditioning stone and metal polish on the stropping wheel, and was unhappy with the price paid.
