The Cinolink HDD Docking Station supports all USB 3.0 to SATA I / II / III 2.5'' / 3.5'' HDD and SSD, up to one 12TB. It enables users to prepare new empty HDD for their OS by partitioning and formatting the disk, and it can clone from internal laptop HDD to target drive. However, MSATA to SATA needs to be bought before it can clone. It doesn't support encrypted drives, and it's uncertain whether it has an auto-sleep mode that shuts off when the Xbox turns off. Mac laptops compatible with this device use SATA Docking Station USB 2.0. Customers had mixed experiences with the device. The complaints were mostly about the device failing eventually, not recognizing the drive, and lack of tech support. Others praised it as a great cloner and fantastic for file recovery. It's faster and more Consistent than self-powered 2.5' USB externals. Some appreciated its plug-and-play feature and design. It's worth noting that users recommended using an A/C.
