The Pelican Air 1615 is a large, sturdy, yet lightweight case that provides excellent protection for your sensitive or valuable equipment during travel. Although the exterior of the case might be bumped or scratched during the flight, the items inside the case remain undamaged. The 1615 is built well with padded dividers that allow for a flexible setup to securely hold items. It is also available with a pick'n'pluck foam insert that provides excellent cushioning and allows for a great deal of precision in how you make holes for the things you are putting into the foam. However, it comes with a simple lock which might not be the best for TSA as they may break it to check the contents.
