The case also offers a post near the corner where you can attach a wrist strap or lanyard. This way, you can safely and conveniently wear your phone without the risk of dropping it. However, there are some drawbacks we found in user reviews. The camera cover creates a halo that shifts the focus of the photos, and scratches easily within a few weeks. The plastic covering the back camera also causes severe blurring of the captured images. Moreover, the screen protector has tiny dots that make it almost impossible to type and the space between the phone screen and the screen protector does not lay flat, which makes it a real challenge for the users. Additionally, the waterproof ring can be challenging to reset properly. Despite its downsides, the LifeProof FRE Series Waterproof Case can still protect and provide peace of mind against water and dust. But for those looking to keep their phone in great condition while staying functional, there may be better options available at a more affordable price range.
