The only drawback is that you have to turn on the fan to get the nice bright light. The product has narrower mounting clip widths for smaller fan boxes, so it should work with most fans that have the plug-in type motor. You simply unplug the motor from the fan housing, plug it into the FG600 plug, plug the FG600 male end where the fan motor had been plugged in, and snap the grill up. The cover is 10x10 inches, and the LED lights are not replaceable, but that shouldn’t ever be an issue.
