It is available in 3Ply Black, and the front and back sides of the sheet are both glossy - with the latter being less so. The back is plain vanilla/tan colored plastic substrate. The intention of the sheet is to age and yellow the pickguard. The laser cutting of the pickguard may be possible as long as the laser is powerful enough, but if you're cutting it manually, a wire saw is recommended. Buyers have found this product easy to work with. One buyer used it to make a black pickguard for an Ibanez Iceman, and another bought it for a reissue 58 goth explorer.
