The customer service and warranty provided by David Clark are praised. The headset is compatible with a mono/stereo switch and GA plugs to U174. However, helicopter pilots will need an additional adapter. There are no gel replacement ear pads available for this headset. The mic boom may be too short, leading to unpredictable voice communications at times. Some users have reported issues with heavy use and recommend Bose or Lightspeed alternatives.
