One possible issue with the product is that the letters are printed or stamped onto the metal, which makes the information less permanent than if the letters were embossed or engraved into the metal. The Ellipal allows many types of cryptos for each account, but each account will generate only one address, and the Ellipal lacks the support for xpub addresses. Some customers are disappointed that there are only four characters per slot on this metal backup product, and each time a new account is generated or restored, a new set of seed words is generated, which can be confusing. The instructions are also unclear about which wallets should be used, hot or cold wallets. The mnemonic metal is of good quality and the product is easy to use. There is room for improvement with the screws being a sub-par metal and the product's charger cable requiring an adapter. One reviewer recommends buying the larger Titan model. **
