Answer: They are dull to the touch on the blades, only the tip is pointy, it comes with protective tips, glue them on for safety purposes. Just my opinion. -

Are the blades sharp?
Answer: NO they are not sharp. There is an edge there but you would need to sharpen it. The point is fairly sharp though.
