It has black grip tap on top, and is capable of holding a maximum weight of approximately 200 pounds. The trucks on the board can be used for carving, however, some customers have mentioned that they needed to swap out the original trucks and bearings for better quality ones to get the board to ride smoothly. The wheels are not particularly soft, and some customers have found that they need to be replaced for a better riding experience. The turning radius on the board is not great, but this can be adjusted by loosening the trucks. The design on the bottom of the board may be prone to chipping over time. Overall, the Krown City Surf Longboard Skateboard is a decent board for those looking to cruise around on smooth surfaces, but may not be the best option for those looking to ride on rougher terrain or make tight turns.
