It uses 0.1 in. x 12.6 in. nylon line which is easy to replace. At times, it may require a firm stick or piece of wood to push down the leaves at the beginning. Safety glasses are recommended. It cannot be used with a blade. The motor may burn out if used with an extension cord that overheats. It is designed to be used with paper leaf bags, but it may be difficult to secure them under the device. The device is not suitable for woody objects, but this is not a design flaw.
