Answer: Yes, I would say so. Not padded like a quilted cotton pad, but I'm sure you want something stiffer than that on a table. You can write on a paper with a pen on top of it, but it feels soft if you lean on it. -

Answer: You probably can cut it if you are careful not is fairly heavy weight clear plastic/vinyl and the factory edges are smooth. Cutting it might make it sharp so you’ll have to figure out a way to smooth them out again. -

Does this slide? Does it stick to the table? I have a toddler that's a messy eater and need to make sure this will work
Answer: We use this for the marble table top and it sticks to the surface well. There is no way a toddler can move it. I would imagine similar situation with glass top table. But if you have a wood table, I cannot comment, although most likely it’s not easily moved by a toddler. Hope this answers your question.
