The Synthetic Rit Dye More Liquid Fabric Dye is a great solution for anyone looking to dye synthetic materials that cannot be dyed with conventional dyes like Dylan. However, it does require a lot of work and is not the easiest product to use. It cannot be used in a washing machine and requires at least 30-60 minutes of stirring near-boiling water. Customers have successfully used it to dye outdoor cushions, rugs and upholstery, but results on polyester clothes have been mixed. Some users achieved good results, while others found the dye does not work on polyester. The stitching also gets dyed with the material, so it may not be suitable for everyone. A key advantage of this product is the wide selection of colours available. However, given the effort required to use this product and the mixed results, it may not be worth the cost and time for everyone.
