The Somfy 535A2 RTS CMO is a motor with built-in RTS functionality. It has a torque of 35N.m, which may not be strong enough to close certain systems compared to the Somfy 550. The 535A2 RTS CMO is radio controlled with 3 wires on the power cord, while the 550 CMO is not RTS and requires hardwiring with 4 wires. It is recommended to contact customer support with a picture of the motor label for assistance with finding the correct replacement. Programming the motor to an existing remote involves pressing and holding the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously, and releasing them after the end-product jogs briefly up and down. The default cord length is 6 feet, but longer cords can be purchased separately. The motor does not come with a remote control or accessories, but existing ones can be reused if replacing an old motor.
