3M Sanding Sheets Editorial Review

The 3M Pro Grade No-Slip Grip Advanced Sandpaper is perfect for woodworking or metalworking. The sandpaper has a wax-type coating on the smooth side to make it tear-resistant and help the grits stay on the paper longer. The 220 grit sandpaper is suitable for both wet and dry sanding, but for porcelain, it is recommended to use 100 to 120 grit wet sandpaper or 220 grit with an orbital sander. The sandpaper holds up well when compared to other brands, especially when used with a sander. It is also great for hand sanding. Unfortunately, the waxed side tends to get hot when used with a sander or lathe, causing it to stick to the sander's rubber sanding pad and pull off some of the rubber. Moreover, it is more expensive than regular sandpaper but is worth the price if you're doing a lot of sanding.
