The game has optional co-op multiplayer mode and Japanese with English subtitles. The game has a basic storyline, but the gameplay is lacking due to various issues. The game has limited variety of outfits and hair, awkward cutscene animations, meh gameplay animations, and needs more soundtracks. The players reported having difficulty finding items due to confusing markers and getting stuck behind other characters. The game camera view can be obstructed by obstacles and the characters look like they are made of plastic. However, the game has a funny story and can be enjoyable for fans of the Onechanbara series.
