Tjernlund Ventilation Fans Editorial Review
The Tjernlund RB12W Register Booster has a faceplate that measures 13.5" long x 5" wide and is made to fit a 4" x 12" register. It is not UL listed and has an on and off button for the fan to push air into the room. The unit will not come on automatically. The power cord plugs into the top of the register through the register grate on the right-hand top side. It is a very tiny cord (like a telephone charging cord). It blows a lot of air but produces a high-pitched sound that some find annoying. It works well when the fan is turned on, but when it is off, it blocks some airflow due to its smaller opening than a regular register.
