The GS Power Wire Loom comes in 3/8" and 1/2" sizes, with the size indicating the nominal inside diameter intended to cover wires with a combined outside diameter equal to or smaller than the nominal dimension. The 1/2" size has a decent material thickness while the 3/8" size is very thin. The product is not rodent resistant and is recommended for internal wiring as per Construction codes. It should not be used for 115v/24v underground electric cables. The reviews indicate that the loom is thin and flimsy, making it harder to install and less resistant to heat. Some customers found it difficult to install over wires and some found it too soft and lacking in structural integrity. However, some customers found it effective for protecting cords from pets and tripping hazards.
