    Answer: The skillet is 13 inches in size.

    Answer: The food can stay hot for 15 minutes or longer.

    Answer: Yes, the skillet has double loop handles for easy handling.
  • Question: How deep is this skillet?

    Answer: Well it recites Shakespeare, so I say pretty deep.
  • Question: Is this skillet dishwasher safe?

    Answer: Don't put cast iron in the dishwasher! To cook an over-easy or sunny-side-up egg in it so it will be non-stick, select the correct size of pan, e.g., the 4" pan for one egg only, add 1/2 to 1 tsp oil or butter, turn to med heat, wait until the oil has heated just enough to make a drop of water sizzle, then add the egg and turn the heat down to 4/10. Be prepared to lower the heat or turn it off [if electric heat] just before you think it is ready to turn over. Flip the egg and remove the pan from the heat source to finish cooking. Remove any excess oil or butter, rinse with hot water, wipe dry with paper towels, wait until completely dry, then wipe the inside with a thin coat of oil.
  • Question: How flat is the pans bottom or is it more like lodges rough surface. I ordered one but should Implan to sand the bottom?

    Answer: Victoria Cast iron is not smooth like a Ceramic and it is not rough that give you trouble when you are cooking. I use it personally and i do not see any rough surface.
  • Question: How well does this cook paella compared to a traditional carbon steel pan?

    Answer: Muuuuuch better!!
  • Question: Does this really work with induction cooking ? ?

    Answer: Yes, as this is cast iron, it will work on induction cooktops. Please note that cast iron is tough and heavy, thus you should never slide it across glass or ceramic tops.
  • Question: What are the specific measurements: exact diameter and depth ?

    Answer: Rim to rim = 12" diameter. Bottom surface about = 9.75". Pour spout to pour spout = 13.25". Handle = 7.5". Helper handle to end of long handle = 20.25"
  • Question: Is the surface sanded smooth (like the new field brand, or the old wagner or griswold) or gritty like lodge? thanks!

    Answer: No it is not smooth like those brands. It is more like your typical Lodge, but a little smoother. Not a problem though. Just cook with it and it will get better. I can cook eggs over easy with no sticking at all. I just add a little butter and eggs slid around in the pan.
